Step4-Setup WordPress On Your Domain Through Kloxo Panel Or FTP

Setup WordPress Domain | Kloxo Panel | FTP

Download latest WordPress version.
As usual, login to your Kloxo panel, click on your desired domain and select File Manager.

Select domain

 

Upload wordpress latest version zip file:

Click on wordpress uploaded zip file

Extract the file

 

Now, WordPress is on your domain. However, before I show how to connect WordPress, you need to following few things as shown below.

Select domain on the left menu, click on the domain name, scroll down to find Permalink.

  • Select WordPress as the application
  • Input a ” / ” without a quote into the box

Again, select domain on the left menu, click on the domain name, scroll down to find PHP Config.

Select Advanced PHP Config.

Next, fill in some info there.

 

Very important: Make sure
  1. Memory Limit
  2. Post Max Size
  3. Upload File Max Size
Are same in number you set.
FTP upload index.php to your domain root.
You can read the instruction here. Giving WordPress its own directory.

Download .htaccess from your domain root, add above to the downloaded .htaccess file and save , then, re-upload back to root domain.
For FTP uploader, I recommend Filezilla – Download Filezilla.
Follow my setting.

 

Configure MySQL Databases for connecting your WordPress.

Select admin – On Domain menu – Select Mysql Databases.

Write down Database Name , user name and Password.

Login To WordPress:

On your browser, type ;

http://yourdomain.com/wordpress or

http://yourdomain.com/wordpress/wp-admin

You’ll be received a warm welcome from WordPress

 

Follow the instructions given, your blog will be up and ready.
